Did the President really fail on fulfilling his promises?

Note: This is a mere opinion of an ordinary citizen and on behalf of the masses who supports the administration.

Yes, President Duterte is not classy and an eloquent persona in politics. He does not go out in style and in a suit to impress like most political personalities we have known. His style, his fashion, and his choice of words needs polishing, and he is rough around the edges. But do not underestimate him because when it comes to governance, his actions speak louder than his uttered curses. He is the President that we are not accustomed to, but the majority of the Filipinos supports him because he is the only one who has the will to serve his people and the one who is not afraid of anyone and anything.

A Few anti-Duterte have questioned what he has done during in his four months. Well, if they are not blinded by misleading headlines in the news that the so-called noble journalists created to make the news marketable, they would have seen the truth behind curses and rants. They could have the chance to dig deeper into the real story. They are focused on the deaths of criminal and they tend to discredit the things that the President has done. I am talking about 911, mining issues; SSS pension increase, safer community for ordinary civilians and more than 10,000 contractual workers now are secured of their jobs after their mother companies decided to make regular employees.

On the first 100 days of Pres. Duterte the administration fulfill their promise of reducing the contractualization practices by at least 50% by the end of the year. The illegal drug today is in the crisis since the government has declared war on drugs. Numerous drugs addicts and pushers have surrendered, and few drug lords died during an operation. Today, some private sectors like the San Miguel Corporation have donated for the building of new Rehabilitation facilities. Though it is not a task that can be done in just a few days, the government is working left and right and cleaning up the government.

The President may have few critics, but he has more supporters and people who trusted him. He has flaws; it is because he is human and not God. Even myself hate the way he delivers his rants and anger, but what can we do? He is what he is. He is not pretentious and only speaks fancy words like other politicians. He is different, and that’s the reason why people sees hope in him and believe that he can make a change.
